Robbie & Morgan!!

We made a little trip to Pennsylvania for Morgan & Robbie’s wedding. Robbie is the son of one of my BFF’s and it was a privilege to share this special day with the family!! There were lots of laughs, tears of joy, great friends, and home cookin’. It was a day to treasure!

Venue: The Looking Barn Littlestown, Pa.

Family Mini-Sessions

Thankful to have seen these beautiful families again! Photographing their weddings and then watching as they lovingly raise a family always makes me so happy! These little mini-sessions at the park allowed me to shoot with a zoom lens and yet reconnect in this time of social distancing. It was a nice evening!

Maternity and Minnie, the dog.

I couldn’t be happier for Heidi and Colin!! They will be awesome parents. Minnie will testify to that 🙂

Cayla & Kyle-Married!!

Maybe you planned on getting married in 2020. Maybe your plans changed. But either way, you still get married and have the most beautiful day of your life.

What matters it that you are with the person you love.

Cayla and Kyle made a few changes to their plans and said “I Do” at North Bank Park. With a few close friends and their parents, it was a perfect evening! The smiles were overflowing and their love filled the downtown Columbus air. We are very thankful we could share this special time with them!

Amanda and Brendan…MARRIED!!

We can all admit that 2020 has thrown us some curveballs. Because of the restrictions by the government, Amanda and Brendan had to postpone their wedding like so many other couples. But when their original date rolled around, they decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony with just their parents as guests. Everything was outside. We stood our distance with telephoto lenses to document the event. Siblings were on Zoom. Their friends drove by and honked and waved in celebration. Let me say, it was very special. It was also very difficult for me to not hug them but air hugs from a distance work, too 🙂

There will be a big party later this year and everyone can share in their happiness!!!

Sarah & Ian’s Winter Wedding

We had so much fun working with Sarah and Ian on their engagement shoot and couldn’t wait for their wedding! This winter day was quite cool but they were troopers. The Estate at New Albany was a perfect venue to be outside for a few minutes at a time and then to run in and get warm. The fields on either side make for a beautiful backdrop in any season. We are so thankful that Sarah and Ian invited us along for their special winter wedding!!!

Peyton & Hayden in Hocking Hills

Misty mountains and icicles were the theme of Peyton and Hayden’s engagement shoot in the Hocking Hills. We love hiking here in any weather but the ice draping from the rocks in the winter is always a sight to see. We have known Hayden since he was a little kid and it’s so nice to see him find his true love, Peyton. Thankful to spend a little time in the hills with these two!

Hannah & Luke Part II : Snowy Fenmore Edition

Luke and Hannah had a beautiful fall engagement session but the park we shot at didn’t allow dogs. I love animals and love to incorporate pets into engagement shoots whenever possible. One time, a couple brought their 6ft. boa constrictor! That was exciting to say the least 🙂 Anyway, while on Hannah and Luke’s fall session we started talking about their dog, Fenmore, and how much he loves the snow. We said it would be fun if we could find a snow day and run to another park for a little mini session with their favorite furry friend. Sure enough, the weather forecast and our schedules aligned for one of the few snow days we had this winter. I had a lot of fun in these 30 minutes and I think Fenmore was pretty happy, too!

Swetha & Jim’s Engagement Session

We had planned to meet Jim and Swetha at Asterick Supper Club in Westerville. Max and I had never been there before so we arrived early to eat lunch. Not only was the atmosphere lovely, the food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly! Enough of my food critic review;)

Jim and Swetha walked into the restaurant with smiles on their faces. We shot a few photos inside and then ventured on to Inniswoods Gardens. It was chilly but the snow on the ground made for a beautiful setting. Swetha’s dress against the white snow was so pretty!

We can’t wait until their wedding and looking forward to photographing those sweet smiles again!!

Ashley & Brian’s Wedding

Everything was just lovely….from the amazing dress that Ashley designed herself to Brian’s bowtie and cufflinks. Their day was filled with perfect little details and grand locations. The ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Cathedral and the reception was at the Westin Great Southern Columbus. To add to the excitement, we stopped at the Statehouse and the historic Ohio Theatre. Talk about a wedding photographer’s dream.

Thank you, Ashley and Brian, for this wonderful adventure!
