Wedding-Nic & Savannah

A common question that we ask our couples is, “If there is an amazing sunset, do you want us to come tell you? Even if it’s in the middle of the reception?”. Obviously we wait until a formality such as cutting the cake or toasts are done but you get the point When we asked Savannah and Nic, we got a big YES for an answer, and wow, did the sky deliver!!

Always a great time with this family and we are so happy we got to spend the day with this super sweet, Fun couple! We had a blast!!

May the party continue for many many years!

Wedding-Megan & James

From the first look at Schiller Park to the wedding at Wolf’s Ridge Brewing, it was an all out fun day with Megan and James! We always tell the couples we work that we are happy to suggest locations or sunset times to get nice photos. But ultimately it’s up to them to do whatever makes them happy on their wedding day. Megan and James were up for “whatever” They ran down the street with us to take a photo in a new spot that I had always loved but never had the chance to use. And then again for the most amazing downtown sunset….they were there for it! Thank you, James and Megan, for being awesome!!

Surprise Proposal! Avi + Karen

It was such a joy to see all the effort that Avi put into this surprise proposal and then to watch how happy it made Karen! Friends and family helped with all the details at Franklin Park Conservatory and the after party at Seventh Sons Brewing.

BTW…Karen said YES Congratulations to you both and thank you for having us photograph these special moments!

Forrest & Alicia-Married at The Beverly Mansion

What a special day with Alicia and Forrest! The sun was shining and nature was singing This was our first wedding at The Beverly Mansion. We loved it. But more than that, we loved working with Forrest and Alicia! To see how they look at each was a pure joy. We are very grateful to have witnessed it!!

Married! Layne & Jordan

We are so thankful that Layne and Jordan asked us to photograph their special day! We have known Layne since she was a little girl and have seen her grow into a beautiful kind woman. So happy she found her Jordan!! They make a sweet pair and I love to see them laugh together. You could feel the love all day from long time friends to close family members. Layne & Jordan….May the two of you always be surrounded with that kind of love every day

Dana & Mike-Married!

What a joy to see 2 people live in the moment on their wedding day! Sometimes the rush of the day makes it a challenge for a couple to sit back and just take it all in. Mike and Dana let those moments sink in. They were happy to relax with friends and on the other hand, just as happy to run out for a quick photo! They got sun, thunderstorms, a sunset, sparklers, and most of all…each other

Engaged! Megan & James

What a beautiful spring day for Megan & James’ engagement session! I was so happy to see the trees starting to bloom with colorful flowers. And we even got a little sunset at the end! You know never know what pretty things you will see at Inniswoods Gardens.

Sarah & Mark-Married at Little Brook Meadows

Nature got the memo for Sarah & Mark’s wedding colors…..purple and greens were abundant at Little Brook Meadows. The redbud was in bloom and spring was here!

When I met with them to go over the wedding timeline, I soon discovered we shared a love for The Office and dogs. I knew it would be a fun day and it sure was We laughed so much and just enjoyed photographing all the good times they had that day. And of course, there were bubbles, too!

To quote Andy Bernard, “I wish there was a way to know you were in the good ole days before you actually left them”….well I think Mark and Sarah know they are in the good ole days and will have a ton more!!

Stacy & Ari-Mountaintop Vows

More Wednesday mountaintop sunset ceremonies, Please!

We met Stacy and Ari at their Hocking Hills cabin and immediately knew this would be a great evening! We headed up the mountain with the 2 of them and their officiant. Heartfelt words were said, rings exchanged, and a kiss to seal the deal. Afterwards, we spent some time with portraits (and goofing around). Finish that up with pictures of their cute pups and some delicious cake. There you have the perfect Wednesday wedding in the hills.

“Amy and her husband found their way to our remote cabin in Hocking Hills with plenty of time to get to know each other. They were super sweet and worked so beautifully together. They captured our intimate, sunset ceremony in the most wonderful, personal way. Amy really made me feel beautiful and appreciated on my special day. After we arrived home from our 2 week vacation, she sent a lovely package with photos and a hand painted card for us. I cannot say enough about these two! Just perfect.”

Jayde & Austin-Married!

I will start this blog post with bubbles cause if you knew Jayde and Austin, you would know they love a good bubble photo session!

Their spring wedding at Four Seasons Barn kicked off our 2022 wedding season. It was a nice warm day and ended up with a beautiful sunset! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better start to the year. Everyone laughed and loved all day…and we are so thankful that they had us there to capture it!
